Creative Horizons Academy

Project Overview

Creative Horizons Academy is a website I created as a personal project to strengthen my WordPress development skills. The site was designed around the idea of a modern school where students and parents can easily find programs, staff, resources, and other important information.

Development

I built the site as a custom WordPress theme using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ACF Pro, custom post types, and WP Query. I used the project to experiment with making WordPress content more dynamic and easier to manage from the backend.

This was one of the projects that helped me get more comfortable building WordPress themes from scratch. I really enjoy the concept and plan to revisit the site with a new design and everything I’ve learned since originally building it.
