Penguin Project

Project Overview

The Penguin Project is a nonprofit organization that gives individuals with disabilities the opportunity to participate in theater productions. The website needed to make it easy for visitors to learn about the organization, find local chapters, view events, and get involved.

Development

I developed the site in WordPress using Kadence, ACF, custom post types, WP Query, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript.

A big part of the project was organizing content across the organization’s many chapters and events. I used ACF and custom post types to make that information easier for the team to manage and dynamically display throughout the site.

I also customized Kadence blocks and templates, worked with the events system, and helped build the interactive chapter map so visitors could find Penguin Project locations across the country.
